Launched in 1997 the 996 is the first of the water cooled 911s, and in 2000 the 911 Turbo was launched as the flagship variant of the range. Powered by the 3.6 litre twin turbo mezger engine, which as standard produces 420 bhp however this particular car has the highly desirable X50 power pack with bigger turbos producing 450 bhp. In addition it is equipped with a huge specification over and above the standard.
