Launched in 2008, the DBS replaced the outgoing Vanquish S as their flagship supercar. Continuing Aston Martins relationship with James Bond, the world received a preview when the DBS was used in Daniel Craig's debut as Bond in the film Casino Royale and was used again in the follow up film Quantum of Solace. The cars styling was a development of that used in the DB9 with sportier aero in the form of carbon front splitter and rear diffuser but powered with a developed 5.9 litre engine producing 510 bhp and capable of 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds.
