Beautiful Grand Prix white 912e. The 912e was built for one year only as a stopgap before the 924 was produced. Built on the same body and chassis as the g-body 911, therefore having similarities in the handling and looks and includes the iconic 5 dial dash and fuchs wheels. However with less weight and more manageable power behind the rear axle, with an uprated 2l flat 4 engine, the 912e is a joy to drive and very forgiving and (and around half the price of a 911). An aftermarket Prototipo steering wheel was installed recently, however the car comes with the original.
This car was bought from a Porsche main dealer in 2018, where it had a full mechanical and bodywork overhaul. In December 2020 it had a gearbox rebuild, the fitting of Weber carburettors, and all window seals and rubbers replaced. The panel fit and condition are very good, with even and equal panel gaps throughout. The car has always been dry stored.
