The 996 is the first of the new generation of 911's with the now common-place water cooled enigine, with this particular car being the flagship Turbo derivative. Launched in 2000 the 996 Turbo is power by a 3.6 twin-turbo engine producing 420bhp and is widely regarded as a future classic with prices already rising.
